Hi Nick,

Kuta was a definite eye opener for all of us, but had a great time through the streets, not one hassle apart from the hangovers in the morning. Boat trip was fantastic, very well organise, Everyone enjoyed themselves, good waves at Desert Point (4-7 foot), Ekka’s (4-6), scar reef (2-3) lacerations (2-4), shipwrecks (2-6), nusa chinigan’s (4-6). My personal surfing skills were severely tested, I must say I bailed many times just to shallow, to fast and gnarly coral. Crew were awesome, they got in on our fun and I think they even had a good time, no complaints with the food and there was plenty of it. In summary Nick, it’s a trip the boys and I will never forget, especially being our first. Again thanks for all your work for us. I'm sure that the boys will be planning the next expedition. Keep me on your mail list.

Cheers,

Daniel.

Bali-Lembongan-Lombok-Sumbawa.  A Great budget Livaboard Surf Boat in Indonesia

Dreamweaver has just had a major refit. It's been modeled on the classic Indonesian Jukung outrigger. Sleeping accommodation is now 14 in large bunk style beds. Although we do like to keep our numbers down to 12 pax to save overcrowding in the surf, we can comfortably cater for 14

  Also this style of boat is very stable and fast, and has a shallow draught thus being able to anchor in shallow, smoother bays, allowing for a more comfortable nights sleep unlike some other- deep keeled boats.

Your Dreamweaver Adventure;

All guest are picked up at approximately 8am on departure date and board Dreamweaver at Serangan Beach, about 15 min's drive from Kuta, we then head for the island of Nusa Lembongan, where there is a choice of two rights and a left, Shipwrecks,Lacerations, and Playgrounds .

We will happily take you to the breaks in our zodiac, or we can take you to Lembongan to check out village life on the island, after dinner, you may like to have a beer or two before boarding our boat for a good nights sleep.

With GPS we can travel at night  while you are still sleeping, the crew will up anchor and head for the island of Lombok, where your adventure really begins at one of the longest left hand tubes in the world, Desert Point, voted by Tracks Magazine as the best left hander anywhere.

From here on its up to you and the other guests along with the Captain and his knowledge and experience as to where you go next.

You will visit world class surf breaks like Scar Reef, Super Sucks, Yo Yo's, and when conditions allow, some excellent breaks along the coast of Sth Lombok and some semi secret spots can also be surfed.

At the end of your week with us you will be taken back to your hotel in Bali or to the airport if you desire, you may also like to spend a few days on Nusa Lembongan where there is a good range of accommodation to suit all tastes

Where we Surf;

Desert Point:
A long walled and incredibly hollow left hander which on its day can break up to 300 meters in length growing in size from take off to end. Best between 3-8ft.

Scar Reef:
A walley left peak where you drive into several backdoor sections all offering tube rides to write home about. Best between 2-10ft.

Super Sucks:
Has been called the longest most intense tube ever ridden. Breaking over a long live coral reef this wave reels faultlessly for 150meters. Get pitted from takeoff to exit. No top turns here when it’s on. Best 3-6ft.

Yo Yos:
Catches all the swell. It consists of 2 rights (sigh of relief from all those regular footers) one a wedge peak breaking off of a cliff face, the other a walley right reef in the middle of the bay usually surfed when everywhere else is too small. Best 2-6ft.

We do go to some other semi secret spots if conditions allow. We highly recommend wearing booties and some light rubber and even helmets as all spots break over reef.

Our Boats and Operation

Dreamweaver is an Australian owned Indonesian company.

Dreamweaver Surfing Adventures takes you and your friends on trip of a lifetime, aboard our 80ft vessel.

Dreamweaver has been modeled on the classic Indonesian Jukung outrigger, and has been designed for the specific use of surf charters in mind.

Why this style?

Firstly we are an Indonesian company, therefore an Indonesian style boat. Also this style of boat is very stable and fast, and has a shallow draught thus being able to anchor in shallow, smoother bays, allowing for a more comfortable nights sleep unlike some other deep keeled boats.

The Food

You wont go hungry on Dreamweaver, we supply three high-carbohydrate meals daily, pasta, chicken, fish, eggs, rice, fresh fruit and vegetables, etc etc, plus ample snacks, cold soft drinks, bottled water and four Bintang beers per day from the fully catered kitchen. We offer a choice from a menu, not just the same meal at night for everyone. You are also welcome to bring spirits on board if you prefer something stronger.
Be aware that Indonesian customs will only allow you to bring in 1 litre of alcohol per person, so if you would like us to order any wine or spirits for your trip, we can arrange it for you at reasonable prices, please let us know at least one week before your departure date.

Dreamweaver is powered by a 250hp diesel engine, this enables us to be faster, (less travel time between waves) safer, (no large amounts of flammable fuel, as on outboard powered boats) and more reliable, and we have a 4 metre tender powered by a 15hp outboard to get you from the boat to the waves and back. Some of the other facilities onboard include: split system air conditioning, western style flushing toilet and indoor shower, 240 volt power with international adaptors for charging video cameras and appliances, CD/DVD, stereo, TV, (feel free to bring along your favourite CD’s and DVD's, if you have an ipod with wireless transmitter to FM radio, we can use that as well), fishing equipment, snorkeling gear and spear guns, (If you have your own favourite fishing rod or snorkeling gear bring them with you as well, the more lines we have in the water, the more fresh fish we can eat) We are also equipped with Radar, GPS, marine radio, full safety equipment and a comprehensive first aid kit.

Our highly experienced Captain and crew have a complete knowledge of all conditions, tides, swells and winds, ensuring that you arrive safely and comfortably to the best surfing locations, and with the aid of Radar, GPS, and powerful spotlights, we are able to do most of our travelling during the night while you are sleeping, (or partying) so you get more time at each break.
You will be visiting some of the most beautiful and exotic surf spots on the planet during your 7 days with us, there is also plenty of time to fish, dive and of course, kick back, relax and have fun, while checking out the islands of Indonesia
